Good Friday in Quito
Wow what an amazing and challenging week in the jungle. Yes the literal jungle - big bugs, lots of greenery and just last night a boa constrictor... The students have been amazing! 3 hours of very hard work every morning followed by 3-4 hours of VBS each day. Almost finished the very long sidewalk, but ran into a pretty substantial rain storm yesterday - yes California they get a lot of rain here. What a work the missionaries are doing here! Please keep them all in your prayers. I would guess we had 150 kids at the VBS each day in our 3 sites. They all heard the gospel message Wednesday and I know seeds were planted. It was tough for the students to say good-bye to these wonderful little ones. After a much easier 5 hour ride to Quito over a beautiful pass in the Andes, we are recuperating for more ministry the next two days. It is a beautiful view sitting out in the yard looking over the thriving city of Quito with majestic mountains in the background. Blessings to all, Mr. F.
